At the age of 7, Lilibet obtained first place in a free drawing competition at the provincial level and at 14, she won the 1st place in the national competition We will be like Che. After, she had to stop painting due to family problems. She studied psychology at the University of Havana, and at 25 she returned to painting again and started taking night classes at the San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts.,
At 29, Lilibet started a project with disabled children with the help of UNICEF, teaching them to paint and that their disability is not an impediment to achieving your dreams.
She has exhibited her work in different Cuban galleries such as Raquel Revuelta del Vedado and the Villa Panamericana Gallery, and did several group exhibitions. Lilibet had an expo in Panama, had paintings in a Mexican gallery, Also, she has exhibited her art Suriname in may 2019 at Krasnaspolsky hotel and at the Marriott hotel on June 24. Last year, she participated in the National Art Fair and she greatly appreciates the acceptance of her art in Suriname
