Brigitte Joy creates and sells paintings, both in and outside South America. In addition to works from her own inspiration, she also makes commissioned paintings.
She started by taking lessons from the well known artist, Humphrey Tawjoeram. To expand her artistic knowledge Brigitte continued her training at another excellent artist, Wilgo Vijfhoven. Both teachers have been educated in several countries in the Caribbean and also in Europe..
The work of Brigitte can be described as an eclectic style. For example the piece named “Passion” is described as very daring as it’s a fluent combination of abstract and realistic. How she evolved her style can be read at brigittepaintedart.com. Currently she gets her inspiration from subjects that make her happy. Her current collection might as well be named “Happiness”, not only because of the subjects but also because of the colors used. Due to her very broad interests, we can expect much more variety in both her objects and her style in the future.
